My name is Malachi Woods, and I am a proud member of 70 Acre Farm Motorsports. I am 10 years old and currently drive a Bandolero. I have recently moved out of the Rookie Bandit division and will likely be moving up to Chargers soon. My favorite parts of racing are having fun and winning.
I started my career in quarter midgets with the help of my dad, his friend Hap, my family, Joey Jones, several silent supporters, and my sponsors. I want to give a special thanks to Keith Shelton of Donelson Wrecker Service, who was my first sponsor and continues to support me today.
One night, my dad told me he received a text from Edwin, the owner of 70 Acre Farm Motorsports, inviting me to join the team. My first race with the team was Echopark Speedway in Atlanta. Even though I was involved in an accident, the team worked hard to support all the cars.
I would like to thank Edwin for taking me in, purchasing parts, and renting tracks for us to practice. Thank you to Frank for providing food and snacks, and to Joey and Dustin for their hard work on the cars and at the farm. I also wish Dustin a speedy recovery. Thank you to Tashina for organizing our meetings and helping the team in every way she can. Finally, thank you to all the drivers and parents for your support.
I am very happy to be part of this team. I believe that with this support, I can go very far in my career, all the way to the NASCAR Cup Series.
